PART B: MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Venue: Playfair Golf Club, Randwick NSW

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing or activating a membership with Playfair Golf Club (“Playfair”, “we”, “our”), you (“Member”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms constitute a binding agreement governing your membership, access to facilities, and use of services.

2. Membership Categories and Inclusions

2.1 Bronze Membership

The Bronze Membership is available at a rate of $33 per week and includes the following benefits and conditions:

  • a) The Member is entitled to one (1) hours of simulator usage per week.

  • c) The Member is eligible to participate in Playfair leagues. A league entry fee of $20 per season applies.

  • d) The Member is entitled to access Playfair events and outings, subject to availability and any applicable event-specific pricing.

  • e) The Member may bring guests at a rate of $20 per visit. All guests must comply with venue rules and remain under the supervision of the Member.

  • f) The Member will receive a five percent (10%) discount on retail purchases made at the venue.

  • g) The Member may make bookings up to seven (14) days in advance.

  • h) The Member may cancel bookings without penalty provided at least three (3) hours’ notice is given prior to the scheduled booking time.

  • g) The Member will receive a fifty percent (50%) discount on any additional bookings once they have used their credits for that week.

2.2 Silver Membership

The Silver Membership is available at a rate of $55 per week and includes the following benefits and conditions:

  • a) The Member is entitled to three (3) hours of simulator usage per week, with access permitted at any time during operating hours.

  • b) The Member will receive a ten percent (10%) discount on coaching services provided by Playfair.

  • c) The Member is eligible to participate in Playfair leagues. A league entry fee of $20 per season applies.

  • e) The Member is entitled to access Playfair events and outings, subject to availability and any applicable event-specific pricing.

  • f) The Member may bring guests at a rate of $20 per visit. All guests must comply with venue rules and remain under the supervision of the Member.

  • g) The Member will receive a twenty percent (20%) discount on clinics and a ten percent (10%) discount on retail purchases.

  • h) The Member may make bookings up to fourteen (14) days in advance.

  • i) The Member may cancel bookings without penalty provided at least three (3) hours’ notice is given prior to the scheduled booking time.

  • g) The Member will receive a fifty percent (50%) discount on any additional bookings once they have used their credits for that week.

2.3 Gold Membership

The Gold Membership is available at a rate of $77 per week and includes the following benefits and conditions:

  • a) The Member is entitled to seven (7) hours of simulator usage per week, with access permitted at any time during operating hours.

  • b) The Member is entitled to one (1) thirty (30) minute coaching session on sign up.

  • c) The Member is entitled to one (1) Putt Lab coaching session per 3 months. Unused sessions do not carry over.

  • d) The Member is entitled to complimentary entry into Playfair leagues.

  • e) The Member is entitled to access Playfair events and outings, subject to availability and any applicable event-specific pricing.

  • f) The Member may bring guests at a rate of $20 per visit. All guests must comply with venue rules and remain under the supervision of the Member.

  • h) The Member will receive a ten percent (10%) discount on retail purchases.

  • i) The Member may make bookings up to twenty-one (21) days in advance.

  • j) The Member may cancel bookings without penalty provided at least three (3) hours’ notice is given prior to the scheduled booking time.

All benefits are subject to availability and may be amended by Playfair Golf Club from time to time with reasonable notice.

3. Annual Membership Option

Members may elect to pay annually in advance and receive two (2) months free:

  • Bronze: $1936 ($2288) per annum

  • Silver: $2596 ($3068) per annum

  • Gold: $3916 ($4628) per annum

Annual memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

4. Usage and Booking Conditions

4.1 Weekly Usage

  • a) Membership hours are allocated on a weekly basis and reset on the same day of the week as the Member’s initial payment (“Billing Cycle Date”).

  • b) Unused hours do not roll over, accumulate, or carry forward into subsequent billing periods.

  • c) Membership usage is strictly non-transferable and may only be used by the registered Member.

4.2 Booking Requirements

  • a) All simulator sessions must be booked in advance via Playfair’s designated booking system and are subject to availability.

  • b) Late arrival does not extend the allocated session time. Sessions will conclude at the originally scheduled end time.

  • c) Playfair reserves the right to amend or cancel bookings due to operational requirements, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances. Reasonable notice will be provided where possible.

4.3 Back-to-Back Booking Limits

  • a) Gold Members may book consecutive sessions up to a maximum of two (2) hours per day, subject to availability.

  • b) Silver Members are not permitted to make back-to-back bookings. A minimum gap between bookings may be enforced at Playfair’s discretion. Exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis at Playfair’s sole discretion, subject to availability and prior approval.

  • c) Playfair reserves the right to restrict or adjust bookings where usage patterns are deemed excessive or inconsistent with fair use.

4.4 Peak and Off-Peak Usage

  • a) Peak and off-peak hours are defined by Playfair and may be amended from time to time with reasonable notice.

  • b) Any applicable peak surcharges must be paid prior to or at the time of booking.

4.5 System Downtime and Technical Issues

  • a) In the event of simulator malfunction, system failure, or other technical issues that materially impact a booked session, Playfair will provide a replacement session credit equivalent to the unused portion of the booking.

  • b) No cash refunds will be issued for technical disruptions unless required by law.

4.6 Commercial Use Restriction

  • a) Memberships are for personal use only.

  • b) Members are not permitted to use Playfair facilities for commercial purposes, including but not limited to coaching, paid lessons, events, or content production for commercial gain, without prior written approval from Playfair.

  • c) Playfair reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships where unauthorised commercial use is identified.

All usage is subject to availability, operational capacity, and compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

5. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  • Bronze: minimum 3 hours’ notice required

  • Silver: minimum 3 hours’ notice required

  • Gold: minimum 3 hours’ notice required

Failure to cancel within the required timeframe or failure to attend a booking will result in forfeiture of the booked session credit.

Where a Member records multiple no-shows within a short period, Playfair reserves the right to apply a $5 no-show fee per occurrence and/or temporarily restrict booking privileges.

6. Minimum Term

  • Bronze: minimum 2-month commitment

  • Silver: minimum 2-month commitment

  • Gold: minimum 2-month commitment

Memberships may not be cancelled during the applicable minimum term.

7. Membership Cancellation

  • Bronze and Silver: minimum 2 weeks’ written notice required

  • Gold: minimum 2 weeks written notice required

Notice must be submitted in writing via email or other approved communication method. Membership remains active and billable during the notice period.

8. Membership Pause

  • a) Members may request to pause their membership at any time, subject to the conditions below.

  • b) Pause requests must be submitted in advance and will take effect from the next billing cycle unless otherwise approved by Playfair.

  • c) The minimum pause duration is one (1) week.

  • d) Members may pause their membership for a maximum of four (4) weeks in any rolling three (3) month period.

  • e) Memberships must be active for a minimum of two (2) weeks between pause periods unless otherwise approved by Playfair.

  • f) Billing will be suspended during approved pause periods and will automatically resume at the end of the pause.

  • g) Playfair reserves the right to refuse or limit pause requests where usage patterns are deemed excessive or inconsistent with fair use.

9. Guest Access

  • Guests must be accompanied by the Member at all times

  • Applicable guest fees apply based on membership tier

10. Coaching, Clinics and Putt Lab Sessions

  • Included sessions must be used within the applicable monthly or quarterly period

  • Unused sessions do not carry over

  • All sessions are subject to availability and must be booked in advance

11. League Participation

  • League seasons typically run for approximately eight (8) weeks

  • Entry fees apply to Bronze and Silver Members ($20 per season)

  • Gold Members receive complimentary entry

  • League structure, rules, and format may be amended at Playfair’s discretion

12. Co-Working Access

Co-working access is available as an optional paid add-on:

  • Bronze: Co-working add-on available at $50 per week

  • Silver: Co-working add-on available at $40 per week

  • Gold: Co-working add-on available at $30 per week

Access terms and availability may vary and are subject to change

13. Member Conduct

Members agree to:

  • Use facilities and equipment responsibly

  • Follow all safety and operational instructions

  • Treat staff, guests, and other Members with respect

Members may be held liable for damage caused by misuse or negligence.

Playfair reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund in cases of misconduct, misuse of facilities, or breach of these Terms.

14. Payments and Billing

  • Memberships are billed weekly unless an annual option is selected

  • Members must maintain valid payment details at all times

  • Failed or declined payments may result in suspension of access

  • Playfair reserves the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice

15. Changes to Terms and Membership

Playfair reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, membership inclusions, and pricing at any time. Members will be provided with reasonable notice of any material changes.

16. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Playfair is not liable for:

  • Personal injury sustained while using the facilities

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal property

Members use the facilities at their own risk.
